The Dam is Full again

by Mr Geoff Kelly @ 03:37 PM, 23rd Jun 2023

Following high rainfall this week, our dam is now completely full!

With water running over the spillway, and high inflows, there is some minor flooding of the 7th fairway, and bunkers. Please take extreme care if retrieving your ball from this area, as the edge of the bank is not clearly defined, and falls away rapidly to deep water. At a future date, when conditions permit, this area of the fairway is likely to be raised. For now, the following temporary local rule will apply:

Temporary Local Rule – 7th hole.

Where the boundary of the water in the dam extends past the red lines, the boundary of the water is the boundary of the penalty area. If a player’s ball lies in the roped-off area, outside the penalty area, the player may take relief outside the roped-off area under rule 16.1.
