Our new Front End Loader at Work

Our old unit was some 50 years old and had served its purpose over time. Unfortunately, the old Front End loader's poor reliability has delayed projects and course repairs.
Much credit to Brian Winstanley, who championed the financing and purchase of this new machine.
A Front End Loader is an important piece of machinery on our golf course. Mowers, scarifiers, and sprayers are also important, but a FEL is the 'grunt' of all machinery. Previously delayed projects are now moving ahead thanks to our Course team having access to the new FEL
Keep an eye on the following over the next few months:

New Red tee on the 5th

16th fairway upgrade

Water leak in the middle of 17th fairway

Creek/drain cleanout along 2/4 fairways
-
Various path upgrades
-
Improved mulching on a number of carries.
Shortly a backhoe will be added to the FEL, making it even more valuable to our Course Maintenance team.
