Consumption of Alcohol on the Golf Course

by Mr Geoff Kelly @ 06:58 AM, 6th Jun 2018

The Management of Flagstaff Hill Golf Club has an obligation to comply with the South Australian Liquor Licensing legislation. Accordingly golfers may only consume alcohol on the golf course that is purchased from the Golf Club.

The Club has also attained a Good Sports accreditation which certifies that the Club is compliant to a Level 1 Accreditation regarding responsible consumption of alcohol both in house and on course.

The consumption of alcohol on course must be purchased from the Club and any illegal purchase may affect the Club’s liquor license compliance and Good Sports accreditation.

Members who purchase alcohol  from non-licensed venues or bring alcohol on site may affect our compliance.

The Board of Management expect all members and visitors to comply with this request and will take appropriate action should they jeopardise the Flagstaff Hill Golf Club’s compliance with SA Liquor Licensing.

Please also note that no glass containers may be taken on to the course.
