Course Overview
Description
The course comprises 18 holes plus a "spare" hole (1.5) which can be used during course redevelopment work. A short Orange course has been laid out with orange tee markers, for beginners and young Juniors.
Blue, White, Red and Orange courses are rated for men, and Red, White and Orange courses are rated for women. The stroke index is separately defined for men and women, being the same for all courses except the Orange course. The Stroke Index is defined separately for handicaps 1-18, 19-36 and 37-54. For example, men's first hole has index values 8/21/39. The first number is for players on HC 1-18, 2nd no if for HC 19-36, and 3rd no is for HC 37-54.
Note that the Women's Red and White Courses are Par 5 on the 6th hole, while the Men's Blue, White and Red Courses are Par 4. The men's courses have a total par of 72 and scratch rating 72, the women's courses have a totalpar of 73 and scratch rating of 74.
The White course has been rated for women and although some holes are longer than recommended for a par 4, the same par values as the women's Red course have been adopted. The Men's stroke index is used for women playing the white tees.
The Stroke index for the Women's White course has been set to the same as the men's stroke index.
