The Men's Foursomes Championships are conducted over two 18 hole rounds on successive Sataurdays. Play is in teams of two with two teams per tee time. Refer to the Rules of Golf for the format of Foursomes and specific rules associated with Foursomes.
The Foursomes Championship winning team will be based on gross scores.
A handicap based competition will also apply where the team handicap is the average of the two players. A, B and C grade winners will be chosen, based on the lowest individual handicap of the team, provided each grade has at least 4 teams (8 players). If C grade has no teams but A and B grade have at least 4 there will be just A and B grade. If any grade has at least one team but less than 4 then no grades will apply.
For 2021-22 the event was held on Saturdays 8th, 15th January 2022.
Foursomes players may play in the same group of four as regular competition players if desired. Players entering the Foursomes event cannot also play the competition of the day, and are not eligible for NTP prizes or eagles. Hole-in-one's will be rewarded but you must separately advise Pro Shop staff.
Congratulations to the 2021-22 Men's Foursomes Champions, Brad Manton and Paul McDonnell.
As there were only 1 teams competing in C grade, grades were not applicable.
Congratulations to the overall Net winners, Barry Macoustra and Phillip Cotton
